Safety standard

Child safety and protection

innit.social has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. These standards apply to every account, message, Hub and listing.

Last updated 6 September 2026

1. Prohibited conduct and content

Users must never create, upload, request, distribute, promote or facilitate child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of a child, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexualisation of a minor, or attempts to move a child into an unsafe interaction. Content or conduct that endangers a child is prohibited even when it is presented as humour, role-play or fiction.

2. Reporting in innit.social

Users can report an account, message, Hub or listing from its menu in the app. If a child may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Safety concerns can also be sent to admin@innit.social.

3. How we respond

We prioritise child-safety reports, restrict access while necessary, preserve relevant evidence where lawful, remove violating content that Innit controls, and suspend or terminate accounts involved in exploitation. We do not notify a reported user when doing so could increase risk or compromise an investigation.

4. Authorities and specialist organisations

Where required by law, Innit reports apparent child sexual abuse material or exploitation to the appropriate competent authority and cooperates with lawful investigations. Encrypted content may be held in users' connected storage; Innit will preserve and provide the limited information it controls when legally required.

5. Age and privacy

People must meet the minimum age required in their country to use innit.social. We apply privacy and safety controls proportionately and do not use a child's personal information for targeted advertising.

6. Safety contact

Innit Social Limited is responsible for these standards. Contact our safety representative at admin@innit.social. Reports should include the relevant Innit ID, link or other identifier and enough context for us to investigate without resending illegal material.
